Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Weekend Porter to join our team and support the smooth operation of our facility. The Weekend Porter will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and general upkeep of the premises during weekend shifts. This position requires an individual who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while providing excellent customer service to both staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:

General Cleaning & Maintenance:

Sweep, mop, and vacuum hallways, common areas, and stairwells.

Dust and wipe down surfaces in lobbies, hallways, elevators, and other shared spaces.

Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as necessary.

Remove trash and recycling from common areas and ensure bins are emptied.

Safety & Security:

Monitor the building and its surroundings for any safety hazards or security concerns.

Ensure all doors and gates are secure at the end of shifts.

Report any unusual activity or safety concerns to the relevant authorities or building management.

Assisting with Deliveries & Setups:

Help receive deliveries and ensure they are properly stored or distributed to relevant areas.

Set up or arrange furniture for events or meetings as required.

Provide assistance with carrying and moving equipment, furniture, or supplies.

Customer Service:

Greet and assist visitors and employees in a professional and friendly manner.

Respond to requests for assistance from building tenants or visitors.

Weekend-Only Responsibilities:

Ensure that the facility is in pristine condition for weekend guests and employees.

Perform any additional duties related to building operations that are specific to the weekend shift.

Qualifications:
-
Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities maintenance role is preferred but not required.

Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.

Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.

Availability to work weekends, including early morning and late evening shifts.
Work Environment:

The role requires standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.

It involves indoor and outdoor work, with exposure to varying weather conditions.

A uniform and safety equipment will be provided.
Compensation:

$13.25 Hourly 8:00am to 4:00pm
